How it works (gift cards)

  1. 1. Purchase a gift card from any CVS or Dollar General store
  2. 2. Select the 'CVS' or 'Dollar General' button at checkout
  3. 3. You’ll be redirected to Openbucks to enter your gift card number and PIN to complete your purchase
  4. Note: On some merchants, you can also pay with an oBucks card

How it works (cash in-store)

  1. 1. Select the ‘MoneyGram’ or 'Walmart/MoneyGram' button at checkout
  2. 2. You’ll be redirected to Openbucks to select a cash payment method such as MoneyGram
  3. 3. You'll need to register or login to receive an Openbucks account with instructions to pay
  4. 4. Visit a MoneyGram location, tell the cashier you want to “pay a bill” and show your Openbucks instructions
  5. 5. The amount you choose will be loaded onto your Openbucks account and available to spend
  6. Note: On some merchants and if you are in Canada, you can also pay cash at any Canada Post location
