Information You Provide To Us
We collect personal information and non-public personal information from you when you affirmatively provide it to us, such as when you provide information on an Openbucks Merchant interface, register at the Openbucks Site or contact us. “Nonpublic personal information” is generally information about you that we may obtain in connection with providing you the Openbucks Service and that is not available in public records. You may provide us with both publically accessible and non-public personal information including your name, address, email address, telephone number, cell phone number, payment information including credit card and/or Gift Card details, and/or Openbucks login and password information. We may combine the information you provide us with information we receive about you from other online and offline sources.
Information We Collect Automatically
When you use the Openbucks Service, we collect certain information from you, including but not limited to your browser type, operating system, IP address, device ID, Internet service provider, search query you may have used to find Openbucks through a search engine, and the web site access immediately before and after the Openbucks Service. In addition, we may collect information about your browsing behavior, such as the date and time you access the Openbucks Service, the amount of time you spend using the Openbucks Service, the number of times you return to the Openbucks Service and other clickstream information. We may combine this information with the personal information you provide to us.
Information Collected by Third Parties
Accessing Your Personal Information
If you register as a user at the Openbucks Site, you may change or update the personal information we have collected from you by going to the My Account page and clicking the “Edit Account Info” button or by emailing us at email@example.com. Choosing to withhold or remove certain information may interfere with your ability to utilize the Openbucks Service to its fullest potential. While changes you make will be reflected in active user databases promptly, we reserve the right to retain any information you provide for a variety of reasons, including fraud and abuse prevention, archival backups, and data analytics.
We or service providers working on our behalf may use the information we collect from and about you for any of the following purposes: (1) to communicate with you regarding our services and regarding your use of the Openbucks Service; (2) to otherwise fulfill your requests for products and services purchased from Openbucks Merchants; (3) to respond to your inquiries; (4) to provide you with targeted content, offers and advertising, such as special offers from Openbucks Merchants or that you have purchased through the Openbucks Service; (5) to contact you when necessary; (6) to ensure that Openbucks Service users are adults and otherwise comply with the Terms; (7) to review Openbucks Service usage and operations and conduct internal marketing and operational research; (8) to address problems with the Openbucks Service, our business or our products and services; and (9) to protect the security or integrity of the Openbucks Service and our business, including detecting and addressing fraud and abuse. We or our service providers may also use the information we have collected from and about you to contact you with promotional materials and offers from us, as well as from our related companies, marketing partners, advertisers and other third parties.
We care about your privacy, and we will not share your personal information with any third parties without your permission. We do not rent, sell, trade or share your personal information with third parties for their promotional purposes. We may share the information we collect from and about you with third parties in the following instances:
- With our service providers, if the disclosure will enable them to fulfill your product or service request or otherwise perform a business, professional or technical support function for us, including, without limitation, the activities described herein, as well as verifying credit card information, processing credit card and Gift Card transactions, hosting, developing, and maintaining our service, servers, database, and other systems, enhancing the information that we collect about our customers and transmitting our email;
- On an aggregated or non-personally identifiable basis to Openbucks Merchants, Retailers and issuers of Gift Cards to enable those entities to better understand usage trends with respect to the Gift Cards they issue, or to other partners or third parties with respect to aggregated demographic information (such as the ages and zip codes of our Openbucks Service users).
- As necessary, to identify, investigate, prevent or take action regarding illegal activities or suspected fraud or other abuse of the Openbucks Service;
- To respond to judicial process and provide information to law enforcement agencies or in connection with an investigation on matters related to public safety, as permitted by law, or otherwise as required by law; and
- In the event that Openbucks goes through a business transition, such as a merger, an acquisition by another company, or a sale of all or a portion of its assets, your personal information may be one of the transferred assets.
Opting Out of Marketing Communications
You may opt-out of being an Openbucks user at any time by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our Commitment to Data Security
We use certain physical, managerial, and technical safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of your personal information. We cannot, however, ensure or warrant against all risks with regards to the security of any information you transmit to us, and so of necessity you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission of information, we again take steps to ensure the security of your information on our systems. However, please note that this is not a guarantee that such information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards.
If we learn of a security systems breach that affects the privacy of your personal information, then we will attempt to notify you electronically so that you can take appropriate protective steps. We may also post a notice through the Openbucks Service if a security breach occurs. Depending on where you live, you may have a legal right to receive notice of a security breach in writing. To protect your privacy and security, we take reasonable steps (such as requesting a unique password) to verify your identity before granting you access to your account. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your unique password and account information, and for controlling access to your email communications from Openbucks, at all times.

Additional Policy Information
From time to time, we may post customer testimonials/comments/reviews on our website which may contain personally identifiable information. We do obtain the customer’s consent via email prior to posting the testimonial to post their name along with their testimonial.
Protecting the privacy of young children is especially important. For that reason, we do not knowingly collect or maintain personally identifiable information from persons under 13 years-of-age, and no part of the Openbucks Service is directed to persons under 13, which is expressly limited to use by persons 18 years of age or above. IF YOU ARE UNDER 13 YEARS OF AGE, THEN PLEASE DO NOT USE OR ACCESS THE OPENBUCKS SERVICE AT ANY TIME OR IN ANY MANNER. If we learn that personally identifiable information of persons less than 13-years-of-age has been collected on the Openbucks Service without verifiable parental consent, then we will take the appropriate steps to delete this information. If you are a parent or guardian and discover that your child under the age of 13 has obtained an account on the Openbucks Service, then you may alert us at email@example.com and request that we delete that child’s personal information from our systems.
